Install and activate your eSIM

    Follow our step-by-step guide to install your eSIM.eco on iPhone or Android

    Install before your trip

    Install the eSIM before departing and activate it when you arrive at your destination.

    Requires Wi-Fi connection

    QR Code

    Use a second device to display the QR code to scan.

    Manual installation

    If you can't scan the QR, use manual installation.

    Before you start

    • To scan the QR code, you need to display it on another screen or device.
    • Make sure you are connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.
    • The QR code can only be scanned once.
    • Don't remove the eSIM from the device, otherwise it won't be usable.

    Install the data plan

    Attivo

    The installation procedure starts automatically when you scan the QR code.

    Tap "Continue"

    Cellular network configuration complete

    The plan has been installed.

    Tap "Done"

    Choose a label for the data plan

    Assign a name to the new eSIM.eco line to identify it. For example: "eSIM.eco Spain".

    Tap "Continue"

    Choose the default line

    Select the "Primary" option to continue receiving messages and calls on your number.

    Tap "Continue"

    iMessage and FaceTime

    Select the "Primary" option to continue using your number on iMessage and FaceTime.

    Tap "Continue"

    Mobile data

    Select the "Secondary" option (eSIM.eco).

    Make sure the "Allow Cellular Data Switching" option is disabled to avoid additional roaming costs.

    Tap "Continue"

    Update preferred line for contacts

    If this step is displayed, we recommend setting your "Preferred Cellular Plan" to "Primary" so you don't lose information from other installed SIM or eSIM cards.

    Tap "Done" to complete the procedure.

    The plan will be activated immediately. To avoid using data before the trip, disable roaming on all mobile data plans and enable it only when you arrive at your destination.
